You spend months falling in love with someone whose face you've only seen in blurry ultrasound photos. You wonder whose nose they'll have, whose laugh they'll steal, what kind of little human they're becoming. And somehow... they're already part of your family before they ever take their first breath.

Naomi and Jessel reminded me why I love maternity sessions so much. Not because pregnancy is perfect. But because it's the first chapter of a love story that's already well underway.
