OMG Your Wedding Is Tomorrow
Dude. Your wedding is TO-MOR-ROW. How do you even freaking sleep?! Let's channel all those butterflies and feely-feels into the right things!
FIRST- SOME DON'TS
Don't sweat the small stuff, your wedding is tomorrow!
Don't try to finish DIY projects, you've done plenty of pinteresting, what will be will be.
Don't party too hard, save that for tomorrow!
Don't sunbathe, no one needs a sunburn!
Don't change your beauty routine, now is not the time to try a new lewwwwk okay?!
Don't try new foods, save that for your honeymoon!
Do nothing wedding related, I know "good one katie", but seriously - relax, enjoy your day.
HERE'S SOME THINGS YOU CAN SAY "I DO" TO
1. SEE EACHOTHER, FORREAL
It's such a myth that this is bad luck!! You can absolutely see each other! The day before your wedding can bring lots of feelings, this is a huge change in your life. Seeing the person that keeps you grounded is such a big way to relieve those nerves.
2. EMERGENCY BAG
Having a "go" bag is so helpful on your wedding day! Whether that's q-tips, safety pins, a tide stick, tums, a shot size Jack Daniels, whatever you need for an emergency!
3. GO TO BED LADY
It's so tempting to stay up with your gal pals and party all night, giiiiiiiiiiirl - don't do it. Your wedding day is a blast, but so long too! You want to remember your day, feel your best, and not be exhausted. Save the partying for tomorrow lady!
4. TURN YOUR PHONE ON SILENT
I know you're laughing at me. It's hard. BE with the people who want to be here with you. Take the time to turn your phone on silent, or even vibrate so that you can be present.
5. EAT A HEALTHY MEAL & DRINK LOTS OF WATER
It's so important to feel your best on your best day! Staying hydrated and eating something light is going to help you get a good night's sleep, not feel bloated in your dress, and feel like you can tackle whatever Uncle Bob throws at you tomorrow!
6. CONFIRM WITH YOUR VENDORS & CHECK YOUR SWEET DEETS
Confirming once with your vendors before tomorrow is a great idea - just double checking that everything is in place so that you can rest easy today. Another great idea is to keep a printed list of all your vendor information with someone trustworthy on your wedding day so that you can have it in case of emergency.
7. TREAT YOURSELF
Do it!!! Get a manicure, a pedicure - whatever. Celebrate with relaxing and take in all the memories that are happening RIGHT NOW.
8. MORNING AFTER PERSON
Assign someone trustworthy to be your morning after person. This person can do one final sweep of your venue after everything is over to make sure that nothing is left behind or lost. Having a list of things to double check for would be super helpful.
9. WRITE A LOVE NOTE TO YOUR SUGAR
This is something that couples do all of the time but it's different for everyone. Not only does it provide you with some sweet pictures (wink, wink) but it also helps you get in the right headspace for the entire day - you're marrying your best friend!!
10. SAY A BIG THANK YOU
Be sure to thank everyone that has helped you out! Just taking one minute to say thank you will mean so much to everyone, and it lays out all of the people that have stepped in and loved on you for your special day.
